I went to a quilt show with two friends on Friday. I thought I'd just have a look and maybe buy some little thing. Well you know what 'thought' did - bought a feather and thought it'd grow a hen (or something like that)!! I had a BALL - the most beautiful bundles of fat quarters tied up with satin ribbons and all mix and match - I never see fabric like that in the shops - of course it's directed at quilters hah! Lots of elderly ladies who still make boring quilts in boring fabrics and have never moved forward with the times!! OK rant over.

Ha, Evie, you made me laugh. I love quilt shows even though I don't sew. All that yummy fabric and ephemera! Houston has the International Quilt Show in November. It's huge. Can't wait.
