Email and Google

I wasted time thinking that I somehow had a virus in my email as all my inbox messages disappeared before my eyes. I contacted Virgin Media to ask for help - it was all part of being part of google mail and my account was being updated to googlemail. And the worst part is it can take at least 48 hours. Thank goodness I wasn't bidding on ebay!!

Hearts for Valentine's

I've had this painting ready for a while but if it's meant as a Valentine's gift I thought I'd better get it listed. I love working with texture and soft colours. It's on Folksy if you'd like to see more.

 

It's a Start

I'm concentrating on painting and getting ready for an exhibition later this year.

I've had the urge to paint a triptych for some time but I could only find two canvases the same size in my stash - so it's a diptych! The budgie is stronger in colour in reality but I couldn't get it right in Photoshop. Any comments, good or bad, are welcome!

Tired or what?

I don't know what's going on but I'm sleeping a lot more than normal. Maybe it's my body's defence system taking over giving hibernation-like demands!! Very tired of the snow now, I've been cooped up for so long - the thought of slipping and breaking bones keeps me at home.

But on a brighter note - I'm ready to get my paints and canvases out and feel very inspired! I love abstract painting and although I've heard people say they don't understand them - what does it matter? You see what you want to see!!

A New Year and ....

.... lots to do! I have new art projects waiting to become real and feel very enthusiastic.

I took the Christmas decorations down this morning and was pleased not to have had a tree to dismantle.

I'm making munster art dolls and I swear, the more I look at them, the more they're taking on personalities! I know - I should get out more!!
