Workshop on the Web (WOW)

I resumed my WOW sub this week - I'm pretty sure that lots of you are familiar with this online textile magazine but for anyone who isn't, there's a taster on the home page. It has fired me up again with loads of instructive projects with plenty of photos. I'm having a quiet day today indulging my muse - after I hoover LOL!!!

Does anyone remember 'carbon paper'?? I've been looking for it for months - it seems to have been swallowed up by "modernization". But, I found some coloured sheets of it in a charity warehouse and took 3 packets for the princely sum of 30 pence. Might go back and get some more!!

  1. I'm surfing by from the cafe board and what a wonder! CARBON paper!? I have been scouring the flea markets looking for some! I would be glad to sponsor your next purchase if you could see your way to sharing just a tiny bit with me!

  3. Wow, what an awesome website! I've never heard of it before. It sounds great, and I'm sure that it's packed with wonderful information as I already have one of Maggie's books, "Paper, Metal, and Stitch". Some of the information from that book is given on the Taster page.

  4. Hi Evie,
What are you going to use the carbon paper for? If for transferring images, a product called "Trace-Down" is much better. Mind you, you certainly have found a bargain there!
WOW looks great - shall visit there again!
    Hugs,
    Kari x
