I've attended the first part of a 2-day workshop on experimental textiles. What a breath of fresh air to see graters, wire brushes, and hammers destined to take part in the distressing of fabrics.
We went outside to hammer different types of fabric against the stone walls and pathways, and steps!! I'm really enjoying myself and will try to post pictures later on.
Tomorrow we're using hot wax and vinyl paints.
