Mini Canvas - Flowers Are Blue

I just needed to work at something simple and small, so I painted this mini-canvas. It's on Wee Art Things

    'Gesso-blue roses at midnight'
    This is lovely. I see them as poppies, or cornflowers or roses,a kind of universal flower!
    So pretty!!

    I am trying to work out which colour went on first; I imagine it was the dark blue!

    Sue, I think they think they are cornflowers LOL. I started with the yellow, then green and finally the blue.
