I was browsing the charity shops today and I found the most adorable cabinet painted lilac. The funny thing is that it has identical doors at the back?? What could that have been for?? And the inside has slotted in dividers painted fuchsia with gold edges - it's beautiful and guess how much I paid for it -- £3 -- what a bargain!! And did I mention the lovely handles....
I would say this was a record cabinet, designed to hold the thick 78rpm shellac platters, such as the RCA Victor Red Label disks.
