Here's my February chunky book page for a swap - the suggested theme was 'white', and believe it or not, this started off white with layers of different papers and gesso. Then I did something I didn't like with black ink and it wasn't permanent so the fresh gesso just went a blue-grey colour. And I actually like it better now. What I should have done is a 'before' and 'after' version....
Love the happy accident Evie!! I had this happen once with my gouache and loved the way it turned out!
ReplyDeleteIt works just fine, white is never just white, anyway. The colour is subtle and very effective.

She's just so cute... I'm sure whoever she's destined for will be thrilled.

Very cool background Evie!--I like the gray--reminds me of a quiet winter sky, just before a snow storm. I like that little bit of blue that is peaking through in the left hand corner too.
