I've been looking through artwork I did ages ago and decided that this one would be more successful if I cut it up - so the little watercolour/gouache paintings have been embellished with stitching and are now *ATCs*. You can see them here ebay. I won't tell you how long it's taken me to do this (that is the ebay part, not the painting!!).
You are a beautiful painter Evie. How about posting some of the paintins of women you had hanging when I visited?
ReplyDeleteOh these are grand!! maybe take the framed pics outside to take pics?? will that work?? have the pics face the sun and you face the pics??? hey what do I know!!!?? not much but love that my digital camera does all the work for me!!! good thing for me!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I am crazy about these - wow! I love Iris and I'd love to see more like this.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever want to show any pieces in the museum of paper arts blog http://tinyurl.com/a9uk6 please don't hesitate to get in touch.
As I was telling someone earlier, it's a good way to get some incoming links and a few more readers. And there are other benefits which I blogged about at http://tinyurl.com/7c92d
I'd love to let more people know about your fabulously cool pieces!
Hi Evie
ReplyDeleteI love these ACT's and I never would have thought of cutting up a watercolour to make ATC's - it works brilliantly, I love them
