My Arbour

I bought a lovely garden arbour/seat in white and duck egg blue which my neighbour kindly agreed to assemble for me. This was yesterday in a howling gale and very cold. As the plastic wrapping began to be removed it was obvious that the wood was cheap and nasty with knots showing and it hadn't been sanded properly, and the two trellis parts were stuck together with paint - it was a complete disaster.

I phoned and complained and it's being picked up tomorrow. But I am very disappointed. AND it was expensive!!

The Scottish Moors

I haven't put my nose outside today as it's freezing - but I got so much done. You should see the mess I've made because, not content with all the painting stuff, I also have some fabric things I'm making and the room is a tip. But it'll all have to be tidied away as DD3 is coming for a few days with my lively grandson so I'm making hay ....

Well here's the latest painting I've put on ETSY, the price is  $45 (£32):Hillsfields

Springtime

I feel a definite feeling of Spring and after a long quiet Winter, the birds are singing again. So in that frame of mind, I've painted some flowers - very dynamic colours and far removed from my vintage-type colours.

I've been told that prices should be on our blogs, so these three which I listed this week are all $40 each. They're  here on Etsy : Flowersspots   Jugs

New Painting

I have quite a few paintings on the go and nearly finished. But here's one of blue flowers that I just listed on Etsy if you want to see more pictures.
