a bit of fun

I needed to make something but not sure what -- so I already had a stamped face on gold paper and tissue which had been painted (including gold paint), paper napkins (serviettes), backed with pelmet vilene and then did some FME (free motion embroidery) and topped it off with some 'curls'. I had fun!!!

fabric book finished

This fabric book has been in the pipeline for ages, so I decided it had to be finished - trying to get rid of pending artwork. It measures 5x6", mostly cottons and embellished with trimmings, buttons, and beads. Here it is: (I've no idea why the pictures are all different sizes??)

A Quiet Time

I don't want to say a lot about this, but I'm in mourning for a family member (funeral is on Monday) and haven't felt much like doing anything creative. But I forced myself to complete two small swaps - one is a chunky book page and the other is a Valentine's canvas. Here they are:
